Recapping the Stand with Veronica Solidarity Vigil
Across the country, people who had received deferred action under the Obama administration are now being taken into custody and deported when they show up for their ICE check-ins.
On Tuesday, April 4, the DMV Congregation Network held a vigil outside the Baltimore ICE office, and stood in solidarity with Veronica — a mother of 4 children and the wife of a US veteran — as she went to her check-in.
